Meigan is a Registered Massage Therapist with 22 years of experience. She graduated with honours in 2004 from the 2,200-hour ICT Northumberland College program in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Throughout her career, Meigan has worked with a diverse range of client populations, giving her a well-rounded perspective and a highly effective, individualized treatment style. Her strong foundation in anatomy and biomechanics, combined with her background in yoga therapy and philosophy, allows her to approach each session with technical expertise and a holistic perspective.
Meigan’s treatments are thoughtful, nurturing, and results-driven. Guided by the understanding that emotional, mental, and physical well-being are deeply interconnected, each session reflects a whole-person approach to care. Her sessions draw from a range of both passive and active techniques, selected thoughtfully based on each client’s needs, including myofascial release, Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, gua sha, cupping, neuromuscular techniques such as PNF stretching, upper-body RAPID NeuroFascial Reset, and prenatal massage.
Meigan is dedicated to supporting recovery, preventing injury, managing stress, and helping clients reconnect with their bodies. Whether navigating injury rehabilitation, managing chronic tension, or seeking to move with greater ease and comfort in daily life, she tailors each treatment to meet individual needs and goals. Through open communication and collaborative
care, her goal is to help clients return to the activities they value, whether it be work, sport, or everyday life, with greater ease and function.
Outside of her practice, Meigan strives to maintain a healthy work–life balance and finds renewal through time spent outdoors. Since moving to Newfoundland in 2014, she has developed a love for downhill skiing and backcountry touring, and also enjoys skate skiing,
mountain biking, kayaking, and hiking.
